Patricia A. Riegel, 70, of Leesport, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in her residence. She was the wife of Richard A. Riegel. They were married on June 4, 1960 and celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Few) Reis. She first worked for Cinderella Knitting Mill, Leesport; and last worked in housekeeping for the Reading Hospital, until her retirement. Patricia enjoyed her grandchildren and her flower garden. Patricia is survived by two daughters: Sherry L. (Riegel), wife of Lester Dautrich, Centerport; and Lisa A. Riegel, Bern Twp.; two grandchildren: Nicole L. Robinson and Tyler D. Dautrich; two brothers: Richard, husband of Barbara Reis, New Ringgold; and David, husband of Dawn Reis, Schuylkill Haven; and two sisters: Trudy Sherer, Mahanoy City; and Susan, wife of Norman Edwards, Dauberville. She was predeceased by a brother: Barry Reis. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
