Patricia I. Knoblauch, 84, formerly of Muhlenberg Twp., died Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the Berks Heim where she resided since 2008. She was the wife of Forrest L. Knoblauch, died December 30, 2006. Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Annabelle E. (Carnes) Owens. She was a 1946 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and attented Kutztown State Teachers College for one year as an Art major. Patricia worked for fifteen years as a secretary for Muhlenberg School District and Schuylkill Valley School District, last working in 1974. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Shillington. Patricia especially enjoyed painting and giving her pieces to friends and family. Surviving are two sons: Glenn R., husband of Janet C. Knoblauch, Wernersville; and Douglas L., husband of Kathy A. Knoblauch, Bern Twp.; five grandchildren: Kasey A. Hahn; Joshua A. Knoblauch; Brian C. Knoblauch; Matthew O. Knoblauch; and Kelly L. Knoblauch; and two great-grandchildren: Lukas and Noah. Patricia is also survived by one brother: C. Richard Owens, Florida. She was predeceased by a brother: Robert M. Owens. Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial will folllow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
