Nicolette E. "Nicki" Downey, 61, of Hamburg, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in her residence. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Judith N. (Pichel) Ford. She graduated from Reading High School in 1978. She was a US Army Veteran. Nicki worked for Aetna Insurance and later as a Phlebotomist at Reading Hospital. She was the 1978 Runner Up in the National Marbles Tournament. She enjoyed Bingo and Casinos. She is survived by a daughter: Jillian N. (Downey) Gullo, wife of Andrew M., Mt. Penn; her fiance: Brian K. Bower, Windsor Twp.; a sister: Belinda "Billie" (Ford) Ruffner, wife of Randy; and her niece and nephews: Ray Ford, Amy Ford, and Tyler Ruffner. She was predeceased by a sister: Maxine "Max" Ford. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 10:00 am in the funeral home.
