Nancy D. Kutz, 65, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Paul B. and Dorothy E. (Kershner) Heckman, Lenhartsville.
Nancy graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1969. She worked at the customer counter for UPS in Muhlenberg Twp., for over 20 years, retiring in 2012. Nancy loved to play Bingo at the Fun Place, Oley; and was a very lucky scratch off lottery player. She was a talented quilter and excelled at counted cross-stitch. She won many awards for her quilting. She was a member of Blue Mountain Chapter #443 Order of the Eastern Star. When Nancy would walk through the grass she had a talent of being able to find a four-leaf clover, over the years, she was able to collect hundreds of them. She always enjoyed spending time with her family. Her family was always very important to her.
Surviving in addition to her parents is a son: Andrew A. Yob, husband of Heather L. (Laigaie) Yob, Dauberville; a daughter: Tara J. (Hoover) Martin wife of Tyler A. Martin, Boyertown; 5 grandchildren: Tianna M. and Derek A. Yob, Trent A., Trista J., and Taya J. Martin; and Baby T on the way. She is also survived by a brother: Randy P. Heckman, Blandon; three sisters: Barbara A. (Heckman) Kutz, Fleetwood, Brenda F. (Heckman) Ramich, Reading, and Darlene K. (Heckman) Kelchner, Wolemelsdorf; her special aunt: Fern M. Stricker; several other aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by a brother: Ryan Heckman.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. For online condolences, please visit www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com
