Nancy K. Gaul, 80, formerly of Centerport, a resident at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Seton Manor. She was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Gaul, Sr., passed away November 22, 2009.  Born in Mohrsville, she was the daughter of the late Harvey O. and Kathryn F. (Shrom) Bagenstose. She graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1958, and was the Salutatorian of her class. Nancy worked as a customer service representative at K-Mart, Muhlenberg Twp., for 38 years from 1978-2016, before retiring. Through her years she completed a lot of genealogical research for both sides of her family, the Bagenstose and the Shrom family. She enjoyed photography and was a member of the Schuylkill River Greenway Association, where many of her photos had been featured. She was very physically active and could always be found fossil hunting, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. She loved her trips to Jim Thorpe, exploring canals and trains, and had fond memories of her trip to Switzerland, where she took so many pictures it consumed 75 rolls of film. Nancy is survived by two daughters: Julie A. (Hoyer) wife of Frank A. Berry, III, Reading, and Deidre E. (Gaul) wife of Dana G. Pepe, Pottsville; four grandchildren: Cory, Maxwell, Chelsea, and Timothy; and four great-grandchildren: Aiden, Sophie, Brenyn, and Matthew. She is also survived by two siblings: Rick Bagenstose, Hamburg, and Cindee Peterson, New Smyrna Beach, FL. She was predeceased by a brother: Herbie Bagenstose. Services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 7:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA. Burial will be private in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery.
