Missi Welch, 44, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away December 26, 2020 as a result of a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was visiting for the holidays in North Carolina at the time of her death. Missi was born to Patrick Welch Sr. of Morgantown, PA and Deborah Kirk of Phillipsburg, NJ on June 28, 1976. She attended State Street Elementary School and graduated from Hamburg Area High School. Missi had a flair for auto repair and maintenance. Much of her life was spent helping out her friends and family with auto issues, hair care, house cleaning, babysitting or anything else that they needed. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Missi is survived by her two daughters, Dariann Schlachter, wife of Trevor and Kayleigh Jones and a granddaughter, Callie Rae. She also leaves behind her parents, Deborah Kirk, Patrick Welch Sr. and his wife Donna, and three brothers, Patrick Welch Jr., Dustin Bechtel and his wife, Ashley, and Drew Bechtel and his wife, Adrianne. She was a loving aunt to three nieces and a nephew who adored her, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The friends who loved her are too numerous to mention. She will be remembered and missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off-street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
