Miriam M. Kline, 88, of Perry Twp., passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Delaware. She was the wife of Richard D. Kline, who died May 12, 2015.

Born in Tilden Twp., she was the daughter of the late Emauel J. and Mabel E. (Heinbach) Wagner. Miriam was a 1952 graduate of Hamburg High School. She worked for the Hamburg Area School District for thirty-eight years; where she was a secretary of the elementary principal; secretary of the school board; and retired as business manager. Miriam was a Justice of the Peace in Shoemakersville; and the secretary/treasurer of Perry Township for thirty-two years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Miriam was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shoemakersville Fire Company.

Miriam is survived by two children: Eugene R. Kline, husband of Sandra Kline, Birdsboro; and Ann M. (Kline) Womack, widow of Orin "Sonny" Womack, Long Neck, DE; and one granddaughter: Staci E. Kline. She was predeceased by her siblings: Lewis E. Wagner; Charles F. Wagner; Stanley J. Wagner; Elsie Confehr and Mary DeLong; and her faithful companion: Toby.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will be in Manbeck's Church Cemetery, Rock, Schuylkill Co.
