Mildred M. Reber, 85, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co. She was the wife of Carl N. Reber, died November 1986. Born in Albany Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Minnie (Berk) Snyder. Mildred worked for Burkey Knitting Mill, Hamburg; and last worked as a waitress for Schmeck's Restaurant, Windsor Twp. Mildred was a member of The Bridge Church, Hamburg. She was also a member of Women of the Moose, Hamburg; and Union Fire Company and beneficial association, Hamburg. Mildred enjoyed going to church and loved going out to eat. Surviving are three sons: Larry C. Reber, Ft. Myers, Florida; Kevin S. Reber, husband of Michelle Reber, Schuylkill Haven; and Keith A. Reber, Auburn; three daughters: Carol A. (Reber), wife of Steve Balthaser, Hamburg; Sandra D. (Reber), wife of Paul Maurer, Ft. Myers; and Connie L. (Reber), wife of Richard Yutko, Pottsville; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Mildred is also survived by two brothers: Howard Snyder, West Hamburg; and Stanley Snyder, Hamburg. She was predeceased by two sons: Ronald L. Snyder; and Bryan R. Reber; three brothers: Kenneth, Lester, and Norman Snyder; and two sisters: Marie (Snyder) Donatelli; and Lennia (Snyder) Becker. Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery, Albany Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 9:30 to 11:00 am.
