Mildred R. Bachman, 87, formerly of Richmond Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon. She was the wife of Edwin M. Bachman, who died January 12, 2015. Born in Jalappa, Tilden Twp., she was the daughter of the late Nevin and Lovina (Greenawalt) Hartman. Mildred worked as a sewing machine operator for Hamburg Knitting Mill. Mildred is survived by a son: David L. Bachman, Leesport; daughter: Judy D. (Bachman), wife of Michael K. Stalnecker, Narvon; one granddaughter: Jessica; and three great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Gianna and Kane. She was predeceased by two brothers: Ralph and Gene Hartman. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to M.S.
