Michael J. Wengert, 63, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Monday, June 8, 2026.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of Rose M. (Tice) Wengert, Upper Bern Twp., and the late Walter W. Wengert. He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1980. Michael owned and operated Wengert's Automotive, for over 30 years. He enjoyed guns and cars. He was a member of Shartlesville FIsh and Game; and a life member of the Shartlesville Fire Company.

Surviving in addition to his mother is a sister: Michele R. (Wengert) Achenbach, wife of Jody L., Bernville; and his niece and nephew: Shelby L., and Cody A. Achenbach.
