September 12, 1959 – May 18, 2025
Michael J. Ruppert, Jr., 65, of Leesport, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of Toni A. (Farina) Ruppert. They were married August 27, 1983 and celebrated 41 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Carol J. (Grieg) Ruppert Becker, Hamburg; and the late Michael J. Ruppert, Sr. He graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1977; and had attended Reading Area Community College. He worked at SuperValu, Temple as a forklift operator and last worked at Excel Logistics, Breinigsville last working approximately in 2012. He enjoyed glass cutting and fused glass; and watching sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings and New York Mets. He was a member of the Greenfields Fire Company Social Quarters.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter: Nicole S. (Ruppert) Williams, partner of Christopher G. Leslie, Schuylkill Haven; a son: Michael J. Ruppert, III, Leesport; and three grandchildren: Jude Williams, Violet Ruppert, and Michael J. Ruppert, IV. He is also survived by his siblings: David S. Ruppert, husband of Elaine, Hamburg, Randy L. Ruppert, Portland, Texas, Suzanne (Ruppert) Balthaser, wife of Jeff, Statesville, NC, Margaret (Ruppert) Becker, wife of Craig, Conover, NC, Timothy Ruppert, husband of Beverly, Shoemakersville, Christopher Ruppert, husband of Sheila, Hamburg, Joel Ruppert, Wyomissing, Heater (Ruppert) Biehl, wife of Bradley, Blandon, and Sara Ruppert, Hamburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two siblings: Dennis A. Ruppert, and Michele E. (Ruppert) Kunkel.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. Viewings will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 6 - 8 pm and Friday, from 10 - 11 am in the funeral home.
