Michael C. Peters, 50, of Bern Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Tower Health Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Cherilyn (Krumanocker) Peters. Born in Norristown, he was the son of William J. "Bill" Peters, husband of Cameron F. (Pompizzi) Peters, Phoenixville; and the late Sylvia A. (Douglas) Peters. Michael was a 1990 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. He was an EMT and worked armed security. He was also a police dispatcher. Michael loved model trains, crime shows, cooking, photography. He especially loved his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife and father is a daughter: Samantha J. DeLong, wife of Jaime Villard Nevarez, Mohrsville; and two grandchildren: Liam DeLong and Amyrha Villard-DeLong. Michael is also survived by his brother: John P. Peters, Norristown; sister: Melissa A. (Peters), wife of Ken Yetter, Gilbertsville; one niece; three nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law: David J. and Candy L. (Schappell) Krumanocker, The Villages, Florida; and mother-in-law: Carol A. (Greth) Smith widow of Lenny Smith, Shoemakersville. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery.
