Michael Lazor, 92, of Whitehall, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Whitehall Manor. He was the husband of Helen D. (Brem) Lazor, died August 17, 2014.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Emma (Verholy) Lazor. Michael was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for the U.S. Government as a federal meat inspector. Michael was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Shamokin; and enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Michael is survived by two daughters: Josette A., wife of William P. Klokis, Northampton; and Cynthia L., wife of Oliver G. Kasper, Hawley; three grandsons: Scott Klokis, and wife Carrie; Todd Klokis and wife Debra; and Tyler Bachman and wife Ashley; and three great-grandchildren: Aurora, Wyatt and Henry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3024 S. Ruch Street, Whitehall. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Coplay. A viewing will be held in the church Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Compassus Hospice, 7248 Tilghman Street, Suite 160, Allentown, PA 18106.
