Michael A. Howley, 56, formerly of Shartlesville, passed away on November 17, 2016 in Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Donna M. (Riddell) Howley for thirty-one years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Aloysius Howley and Frances Falon. Michael worked as a manager for SEPTA, Philadelphia until his retirement. He attended St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. Michael is also survived by his children: Bridgette M. (Howley), wife of Rashad Poteat, serving in the U.S. Navy; Jennifer L. Howley, Temple; and Michael A. Howley, II, Portsmouth, Virginia; one granddaughter: Eva Poteat; and his father and mother-in-law: Dan and Alice Riddell, Shamokin.
