Melvin G. Leiby, 71, of Richmond Twp., died Sunday, July 31, 2011 in his residence. His wife, Suzanne L. (Herber) Leiby, died October 10, 2006. Born in Lynn Twp., he was the son of the late Gerald R. and Mary B. (Billig) Leiby. He worked as a truck driver for 24 years for F.M. Brown Feed Company, Fleetwood. Melvin was a member of Jacob's Church, Jacksonville. He was also a member of Kutztown Fire Company; and a former member of Virginville Lions Club. Surviving is one son: Lee P. Leiby, Allentown; and one grandson: William A. Torres. Melvin was predeceased by his daughter: Linda E. (Leiby) Torres, died March 25, 2010; and a sister: Olive M. (Leiby) Stump. Services from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear) on Thursday at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Jacob's Cemetery, Jacksonville, Lynn Twp.
