Maryjane Schlenker, 76, of Shoemakersville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in her residence. She was the wife of David C. Schlenker. They were married April 3, 1965 and celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Born in Perry Twp., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mae (Adam) Werley. She was a member of Zion's Church, Perry Twp. Maryjane worked as an administrative assistant for MJ Electric, Shoemakersville until retirement. She loved cats, gardening, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Jeffrey T. Schlenker, widower of Debra J. (Smith), Upper Bern Twp.; a daughter: Angela N. (Schlenker) Sterner, wife of Michael S., Hamburg; seven grandchildren: Kristina A. (Schlenker) Henn, wife of Brandon, Brooke L. (Schlenker) Riccobono, wife of Francesco, Ashley Sterner, Katelyn Sterner, Jacob Sterner, Courtney Sterner, and Mark Conner; and fourteen great- grandchildren: Scarlett, Peyton, Javin, Cheyenne, Natalie, Paisely, Everly, Ayden, Braxten, Harper, Rowen, Aria, Sophia, and Skylar. She is also survived by a brother: Paul Werley, and two sisters: Dorothy (Werley) Schappell, and Barbara (Werley) Bubbenmoyer. She was predecased by two brothers: George and Robert Werley.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp.
