Mary Jane Kissinger, 88, of Centre Twp., died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was the wife of Benton N. Kissinger, they were married October 26, 1947 and celebrated 68 years of marriage.

Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late J. Allen and Catherine L. (Gehret) Gromis. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Leesport. Mary Jane worked as a sales manager for 18 years, at the Holiday Inn, Reading before retiring in 1972. She was a member of Blue Mountain Chapter No. 443 Order of Eastern Star, Hamburg, and Shoemakersville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Mary Jane always loved her family, and especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.

Suriving in addition to her husband is a daughter: Linda F. (Kissinger) wife of Randall R. Naugle, Centre Twp.; 2 grandchildren: Jessica L. (Naugle) wife of Justin D. Bodor, Oley, and Jeffrey T. husband of Danielle M. (Ramich) Naugle, Ontelaunee Twp.; and a great-granddaughter: Charlotte Jane Bodor. She was predeceased by 3 brothers: Edward, John, and Frederick Gromis; and a sister: Catherine (Gromis) Kline.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 4:30 P.M. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the funeral home. There will be a Order of Eastern Star Service at 4:00 P.M.
