Mary A. Davis, 91, of Upper Bern Twp., died Friday, February 22, 2013 in Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven, where she resided since October 2011. She was the wife of Duy Davis, Jr., died May 19, 1985. Born in Upper Gwynedd Twp., Montgomery Co., she was the daughter of the late Rocco L.A. and Catherine (Pulcinello) DeLello. Mary was a 1939 graduate of North Wales High School. She received her certificate and diploma in teaching from Reading Bible Institute. Mary worked for ten years in the food services department at the Hamburg Center, retiring in 1991. She also worked for Continental Trailers; Garden State Tannery; and Pop's Dinette. Mary was also a dairy farmer for many years in Upper Bern Twp. She was a former member of the Reading Radio Club, earning her Extra Class license in the club. Her call was KS3A. Mary is survived by one son: Pastor William S. Davis, and his wife Karen, Brigantine, New Jersey; one daughter: Donna M. Davis, Upper Bern Twp.; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter: Kay E. Davis, September 12, 2009. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 to 12:00 noon in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear).
