Mary Dracha Cauler
Mary Dracha Cauler, 89, passed away in her Dauberville home April 25, 2014.
Born in Reading on May 22, 1924, Mary was the daughter of the late Krunaslava Papich and Milan Dracha.
She is survived by her sister, Violet Simboli, nephews, David Dracha, Kirk Dracha and John Simboli, and nieces, Joanne Simboli Hodge, Sandra Shapiro-Torcivia and Cynthia Shreve.
A graduate of Reading High School, Mary worked as the switch board operator for Luden's Candies for over 35 years until her retirement. A lover of world culture, Mary and her long-time companion Clyde Woodburn, traveled extensively for many years, finally taking up residence in Portugal in 1987. Mary returned to the United States after the death of her brother, John Dracha, in January of 2008.
In lieu of flowers or gestures of sympathy, the Dracha family has requested that friends honor Mary Dracha Cauler's memory through the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
