Obituary

Mary M. Blatt, 93, of Centre Twp., died Sunday, May 29, 2011 in the Reading Hospital after a lengthy illness. Her husband, Lloyd M. Blatt, Sr., died January 8, 2000.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles I. and Mary A. (Shuker) Miller. Mary was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. She was a former member of Centerport Grange #1600; and a former den mother for Cub Scouts for nine years.
Surviving are three sons: John E. Blatt (Dee), Boyertown; James F. Blatt, Centre Twp., and Lloyd M. Blatt, Jr., Centre Twp.; and two daughters: Mary Jane (Blatt) Miller-Farr (Robert), Centre Twp.; and Sarah I. (Blatt) Steficek (Andrew), Hamburg. Mary is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son: William L. Blatt; two daughters: Bessie L. (Blatt) Webb; and Joan R. (Blatt) Symons Reber; one brother: Robert Miller; and three sisters: Myrtle M. (Miller) Mease; Florence A. Miller; and Edith (Miller) Bullus.
Services will be on Thursday at 11:00 am from Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Centerport, on Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00 pm and at the church Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Salem (Belleman's) Church Bell Tower Restoration Fund, 3540 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541.
