Marvin L. Kerchner, 83, formerly of Albany Twp., passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was the husband of Sarah J. (Uhler) Kerchner, who died December 28, 2011.

Born in Albany Twp., he was the son of the late John and Stella (Krick) Kerchner. Marvin was a truck driver for Peter Bros., and last for MTS. He attended Ziegel's Lutheran Church, Breinigsville. Marvin enjoyed jokes, bingo, fishing, board games, cards, birdwatching, squirrels and listening to his CB. His handle was grey squirrel.

Marvin is survived by his children: Marvin L. Kerchner, Jr., Berks Co.; Michael J. Kerchner, Windsor Twp.; and Michelle L. (Kerchner) Achenbach, Emmaus; three grandchildren: Jonathan, Tyler and Amanda; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother: Morris Kerchner; and an infant sister: Dorothy.

Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Ziegel's Cemetery, Breinigsville.
