Marion E. Richards, "Midge", 73, of Tilden Twp., died unexpectedly on Monday, July 9, 2012 in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of William P. "Butch" Richards. They were married on April 15, 1967 and celebrated 45 years of marriage. Born in Montrose, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Evelyn (Allen) Stockholm. She last worked as Clerk of Courts at the Berks County Courthouse, until retiring in 2004. Midge was a member of Hamburg Game Association and Behler-Hein Post #637 American Legion, Hamburg. She loved to play golf and enjoyed reading. Surviving in addition to her husband are three grandchildren; two brothers: Allen Stockholm, Spring Twp.; and Warren Stockholm, in Oklahoma; and three sisters: Karen Eshbach, Buffalo, NY; Carol Huber, Reading; and Marsha Hoyer, Kutztown. Marion was predeceased by a son: Craig A. Richards; and a brother: Terry Stockholm. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
