Marian S. Gregor, 92, formerly of Mohrsville, died Thursday, June 23, 2011 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp., where she resided since April 2008. Her husband, George J. Gregor, died July 9, 2001. Born in Maidencreek Twp., she was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Stella M. (Shuker) Shrom. Marian helped her husband George operate Mohrsville Sporting Goods, better known as Gregor's Store. Surviving are two sons: James D. Gregor, and his wife Loreen, Deer Lake, Schuylkill Co.; and Stephen M. Gregor, and his wife Barbara, Shillington; three grandchildren: Stephanie, Stacey, and Todd; and three great-grandchildren: Brandon, Zachary, and Kylie. Marian is also survived by one brother: John A. Shrom, in Florida; and four sisters: Mildred M. (Shrom) Rumberger, Hamburg; Stella V. (Shrom) Gruber, a resident at Whitehall Manor, Allentown; Pearl E. (Shrom) Carl, Simi Valley, California; and Sara E. (Shrom) Diefenderfer, in Nebraska. She was predeceased by one brother: Jesse Shrom; and two sisters: Kathryn (Shrom) Bagenstose and Anna (Shrom) Machemer. Services will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
