Marian J. Bagg, 79, of Scranton, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in the Berks Heim. She was the wife of James R. Bagg who predeceased her.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William Freeman and Ida Mae (Cowher) Scott Freeman Tronko.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of the Abington, Waverly, PA. Marian enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and tidying up. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

Marian is survived by her children: James J. Bagg, husband of Hope, St. Paul, Minnesota; Melissa M. Bagg, Factoryville; and Melanie D. (Bagg) Kline, Hamburg; and five grandchildren: Willard, Adie, Oly, Kayla and Vanessa. She was predeceased by a granddaughter: Nina; and step-brothers.
