Marguerite LaRue Waldman, 99, of College Heights, Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Albert C. Waldman, died April 20, 2003.

Born in St. Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and LaRue M. (Weidener) Hasson. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God. Marguerite graduated from Mt. Penn High School Class of 1943. She had worked as an executive secretary for Judge Schaeffer in Reading for approximately 10 years; and later helped to run her husband's service center: Al Waldman's Servicecenter, Reading for many years. She enjoyed oil painting and watercolors; she was very successful at painting and self taught. She enjoyed sewing and bowling years ago.

She is survived by a son: Frank Waldman, College Heights; a daughter: Marsha A. Waldman, Muhlenberg Twp.; three granddaughters: Nicole M. Yeager, Clearwater, FL, Juliette K. (Yeager) Finley, wife of Michael T., Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Kristin K. Yeager, Philadelphia; and two great-granddaughters: Chandler and Carson Finley. She was predeceased by three brothers: Arlan, Russell, and Richard Hasson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
