Margaret A. Donne, 95, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. She was the wife of the late O. Charles Womelsdorf Donne, Jr., died June 14, 2006.

Born in Hanover, Northampton Co., she was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Mabel E. (Kohler) Stewart. She worked as a sewing machine operator for 22 years; and later as a clothing inspector for 10 years at March Sportswear, Tilden Twp.; and last worked for Wright's Knitwear as a packer for 5 years before retiring in 1992. Margaret enjoyed gardening, sewing, wordsearch, coloring, and spending time with her family. She was a life member of Hamburg Moose; and had received the Academy of Friendship award from the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by a son: Douglas J., husband of Sherry D. (Haddix) Donne, Tilden Twp.; two daughters: Susan J. (Donne), wife of Larry A. Miller, Hamburg, and Lois A. (Donne), wife of Thomas Nefos, Palm Harbor, Florida; four grandchildren: Matthew and Corey Donne, Diane (Donne) Schneider, and Kristine (Nefos) Ellison; seven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren with one on the way. She was predeceased by a grandson: Preston J. Nefos; and her 10 brothers and 10 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (Off street parking in rear).
