Lucille K. (Faust) Stoudt, 93 years old, peacefully passed away on April 26, 2024 in Virginia.
Born April 1, 1931 in Upper Bern Twp. PA, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Florence M. (Kunkel) Faust.
Lucille was a 1948 graduate of Hamburg High School. On October 28, 1950, she married Charles B. Stoudt who predeceased her on February 19, 1999.
She is survived by: son, Gregory C. Stoudt and wife Gwen Stoudt of Hamburg, PA; daughter, Nadine M. (Stoudt) Woodrum and husband Dr. George O. Woodrum of Staunton, Virginia, with whom she resided; four grandchildren: Michelle D. (Stoudt) Smith, wife of Herbert Smith; Nicole C. (Stoudt) Valentino, wife of Brad Valentino; Reed M. Woodrum; and Steven D. Woodrum; four great-grandchildren: Zachary and Victoria Rhoades, and Gabriella and Alexander Valentino. She is also survived by siblings Marlin Faust, George Faust, Nancy Norton and Barbara Graff.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers Luther, Clarence, Warren and J. Robert Faust, and sister Phyllis Kimmel.
After working at Burkey Knitting Mill, she was employed by the Hamburg Area School District, retiring from food service management in 1993 with 25 years of service. For many years, she volunteered as a Tilden 4-H leader, teaching children about cooking and plants. She was a lifetime member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and served on the Altar Guild. She was also a member of Alsace Lutheran Church until moving to Staunton, Virginia. Throughout her life, Lucille was grateful for the family, friends, neighbors and colleagues who supported her through both good and difficult times.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to: St. Michael's Union Cemetery Corp. 535 St. Michael's Rd. Hamburg, PA 19526.
