Lois D. Knarr, 68, of Centre Twp., died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of Jay S. Knarr, died June 28, 2015. Born in Reading, she was the daughter George H. and L. Marie (Gerhart) Fisher. Lois was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp. She went to Reading High School. Lois worked for Santander Bank formerly Sovereign Bank for a number of years. She also worked part time for Reading Phillies for a few years. Lois Last worked for Cabela's for about 5 years. Lois loved german shepherds and used to take her therapy dog to area nursing homes. She enjoyed volunteering at Belleman's Church making candy and helping with the picnics. She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Lois is survived by two sons: Matthew T. Knarr, Bernville, and William Fisher; and a brother: Thomas T. husband of Karen S. (Hepler) Fisher, Jefferson Twp. Services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
