Obituary

Linda L. Stine, 60, of Hamburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was the wife of Steve R. Stine. They were married on August 16, 2008 and recently celebrated their thirteenth wedding anniversary. Born in Lobachsville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Mabel L. (Sterner) Conrad. She was a 1978 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. Linda worked for thirty-three years for Travelers Insurance. She enjoyed shopping, craft shows, camping with Steve, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Linda especially enjoyed spending time with her family and granddaughters. Surviving in addition to her husband Steve is one daughter: Lisa M. Sawyer, wife of Andrew Sawyer, Fleetwood; two granddaughters: Nova and Luna; and her siblings: Wilma L. Conrad, Reading; Charles W. Conrad, husband of Margaret, Summit Station; and Donna L. (Conrad) Rowe, wife of Jeffrey Rowe, Muhlenberg Twp. Linda was predeceased by a brother: Glenn A. Conrad; and a sister: Susan E. Artz. Services will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Steve R. Stine, to establish a college fund for granddaughters: Nova and Luna.
