Linda L. Gougler, 75, of Tilden Twp., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Lee W. Gougler. They were married on August 9, 1969 and would have celebrated fifty-five years of marriage.
Born in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late George H., Sr. and Kathryn (Ingram) Hohl. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Oley High School; and a graduate of McCann School of Business. She also completed a paraprofessional course through the Hamburg Area School District. Linda was the sexton at Zion's Church, Windsor Castle, for over twenty years. She also worked for ten years as a Title 1 aide for the Hamburg Area School District. Linda was a member of Zion's Church, Windsor Castle. She was a member of Virginville Grange #1832; and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shoemakersville Fire Company. Linda enjoyed genealogy; her pets; flowers; gardening and bird watching.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one son: Brian L. Gougler, husband of Courtney M. (Yetter) Gougler, Tilden Twp.; and two grandchildren: Zachary and Mackenzie. Linda is also survived by her sisters: Martha "Mickie" Sproesser, Patricia Herber and Brenda Reimert; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Dorothy Grammes; Susan Bower; George H. Hohl, Jr.; and Diane Cerates.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday 9:00 to 10:00 am.
