Linda L. Bitting, 75, formerly of Bern Twp., a resident at Topton Lutheran Home, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Topton Lutheran Home. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Bitting, passed away August 21, 2013. Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon A. Berk and Iva L. (Bailey) Schlear. She graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1963. She attended St. John's (Gernant's) Church. She worked for over 20 years in the Accounts Payable department at Aramark Uniform Services, retiring in 2010. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shoemakersville Fire Company and enjoyed traveling. She always enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons: Craig B. Brown, husband of Tammy (Blatt), Hamburg, and Dwayne D. Brown, husband of Lori (Stoudt), West Lawn; a step-daughter: Robin (Bitting) Brennan, Spring Twp.; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by a brother: Homer Berk; and a sister: Virginia Koller.  Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 9:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533.
