Lester F. Henry, 78, of Shoemakersville, passed away in his residence on Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was the husband of Faye L. (Gift) Henry.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Steve and Emma (Meyer) Marko. Lester attended Perry High School. He worked for many years for Brush Wellman, Perry Twp. Lester was a life member of Shoemakersville Fire Company Social Quarters. He enjoyed going to Action Track USA, Kutztown; and the Leesport Farmers Market every Wednesday. Lester also enjoyed NASCAR.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his son: Wayne R. Henry, husband of Janice, Shoemakersville; and four grandchildren: Allison, Wayne Jr., Chase and Briana. Lester is also survived by his siblings: Mick Marko, Evelyn Powers and Janice Struempfler. He was predeceased by his daughter: Bonnie J. Henry, died December 9, 2020; and two sisters: Frances Burkert and Sandy Calnan.
