Leon J. Holderman, 61, of Shoemakersville, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Hannah A. (Billig) Holderman.

Born in Oneida, he was the son of the late Calvin R.Holderman and Mary (Sedor) Petruce, wife of Edward J. Petruce. Leon attended LCBC, in Leesport. He had worked as a security guard at Searfoss Detective Agency, last working in 2020. He always enjoyed hunting, cooking, and crafting.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Aaron M. Holderman, Hamburg, and Matthew J. DeBise, Allentown; and a grandchild: Nolan M. Holderman. He is also survived by his siblings: Lois Garcia, Utah, Lucy Levitsky, Georgia, Betty Ann Mogilski, Georgia, David Holderman, Lattimer, Jack Holderman, Ringtown, and Roger Holderman Cheyenne, WY; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings: James, Andrew, Dale, Calvin, and Mary; and a niece who was like a daughter to him: Crystal (Holderman) Zettlemoyer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
