Laurie J. Showers, 61, of Perry Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 11, 2021 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Robert A. Showers. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late C. Gordon and Virginia (Cowing) Blackadar. She was a high school graduate and attended Hunterdon College. Laurie worked in the logistic department of Grosfillex. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Laurie enjoyed her flowers and her two kitties. Surviving in addition to her husband are three brothers: Glenn, Scott and David Blackadar. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
