Larry K. Hannan, 67, of Bernville, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 in his residence. He was the husband of Julia M. Moskal.

Born in Williamsport, he was the son of Elizabeth (Simmons) Hannan, Akron, Pa.; and the late Willis Hannan. Larry graduated from Garden Spot High School and attended Pennsylvania State University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving his last duty assignment on the USS John F. Kennedy. Larry was an electrician for and proud member of IBEW Local #666. He enjoyed working on his farm, and tinkering and restoring a 1929 Ford. Larry loved nature and crossword puzzles. He was a Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Larry still kept in touch with his elementary school buddies. He will be missed by his dogs, cats, horses, donkey, turkeys, geese, chickens, pigs, and his pigeon.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two daughters: Adrianne M. (Hannan), wife of Adon Ko, Annville; and Sarah E. (Hannan), wife of Sam Merrell, Galena, Maryland; four grandchildren: Abram (5), Abbey (4), Samantha (12), and Sylas (9). Larry is also survived by one sister: Sandi (Hannan) Richardson, Akron, Pa.; and his former wife: Lynn Hannan, Portsmouth, Virginia.

Larry's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. David Solit, his nurse Juliette Dunn, and Dr. Karen Brown at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer, Center, New York, NY for the wonderful care given to him.
