Larry E. Bressler, 80, of Centre Twp., passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Berks Heim. He was the husband of Cheryl C. (Yerger) Bressler. They were married March 27, 1965 and celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Born in Windsor Twp., he was the son of the late Dewey M. and Edna C. (Altenderfer) Bressler. He graduated from Hamburg High School, Class of 1962. Larry worked as a truck driver first working at Branch Motor Express for 3 years; then E.J. Brenneman, Sinking Spring for 27 years; and last worked at Windsor Service, Reading for 9 years, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed going to his cabin, watching old western movies, and loved Duke basketball. He owned a 1936 Ford Coupe for 62 years, and loved that car.

He is survived by two sons: Michael A., husband of Sheila A. (Newhard) Bressler, Shoemakersville, and Brian S. Bressler, Mohrsville; three grandchildren: Jason, Kathryn, and Isaac; and two great-grandchildren: Joannah and Joshua. He was predeceased by a sister: Pearl O. (Bressler) Kline.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be sent to: St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Organ Fund, 99 Church Street Hamburg, PA 19526.
