Kim S. Spatz, 56, of Centre Twp., died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of Ronald D. Spatz. They were married on July 1, 1994 and celebrated 18 years of marriage. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Hazel S. (Bossler) Groff, Temple; and the late Gerald D. Groff. Kim first worked for Ames, Hamburg; and then for Jo-Ann Fabrics, Wyomissing. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two daughters: Melanie L. (Rohrbach) Manwiller, Sinking Spring; and Melissa A. (Rohrbach), wife of Jason M. Shupp, Hamburg; two step-daughters: Jessica (Spatz), wife of Jeff Ernst, Laureldale; and Shannon (Spatz), wife of Clark Brossman, Lenhartsville; and nine grandchildren: Amber, Hunter, Justin, Derrick, Devin, Dylan, Hayley, Colton, and Alanna. Kim is also survived by a brother: Brad Groff, Doylestown; and a sister: Dawn Strunk, Fleetwood. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Inurnment will be private in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
