Kenneth F. Labe, Sr., 84, of Centre Twp., passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in ManorCare, Laureldale. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Adams) Labe. They were married November 9, 1957 and celebrated sixty-three years of marriage. Born in Penn Twp., he was the son of the late Wilfred R. and Mary P. (Ohlinger) Labe. Kenneth was a graduate of Penn-Bernville High School. He was a truck driver, last working for Red Star Express. Kenneth was a member of Worship Center, Lancaster. He was also a member of Future Farmers of America and the Teamsters. He enjoyed fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are eight children: Kevin Labe, Sr. (Suzanne), Kerry Labe (Jolie), Korinne Hanson (Philip), Kimberly Moyer (Brian), Kandess Berns (Gary), Konstance Folk, Kenneth Labe, Jr. (Cindy), and Kent Labe; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Kenneth is also survived by a sister: Betty (Labe) Miller Luckenbill; and an uncle: Claude Ohlinger. He was predeceased by a son: Keith Labe, who died April 7, 1959.
