Kenneth W. Engle, 85, of Leesport, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 in Complete Care of Berkshire. He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Schwab) Engle, died September 4, 2022.

Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late Calvin and Ellen (Hoster) Engle. He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Parish. Kenneth worked as a truck driver for Berks Products for 25 years before becoming disabled. He enjoyed race car driving and was a fan of NASCAR; and in his younger days enjoyed playing poker.

He is survived by his children: Brenda S. (Engle), wife of Richard J. Henry, and Brian K. Engle, husband of Cynthia (Smith), both of Maidencreek Twp.; four grandchildren: Justin Soumas, husband of Angela, Nicole Wily, wife of Matthew; and Kayla and Kandace Engle; four great-grandchildren: Aiden, Ryleigh, Hailey and Madison; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four brothers: Robert Engle, Hamburg, Larry Engle, Nazareth, Thomas Engle, Tennessee, and Paul Engle, Tilden Twp.; and a sister: Marguerite (Engle) Schmeltzle, Topton. He was predeceased by three brothers: Leroy, Lester, and Charles Engle.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
