Kenneth C. Adams, 82, of Centre Twp., passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family . He was the husband of Catherine "Kay" E. (Roth) Adams, who died January 25, 2022. They were married for 56 1/2 years at the time of her death.

Kenny and Kay grew up next door to each other on Church Street in Reading and started dating when they became teenagers.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Luther S. and Mae (Squibb) Adams. He worked as a lead man for thirty-six years for Carpenter Technology until his retirement. Kenneth loved going to Doo-wop shows with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed going to car shows with his family and he loved watching NASCAR races. Kenneth was fortunate to recently go to a NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway with the family.

Kenneth was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and is survived by his children: Michael C. Adams, husband of Patricia A. (Froelich) Adams; Pamela C. (Adams) McKeone, wife of Joe McKeone; and Patricia C. (Adams) Loeper, wife of Todd A. Loeper; grandchildren: Kira Adams, Jade Adams, Jessica (McKeone) DeRenzo, Christy McKeone, Zachary McKeone and Brittney (McKeone) Fugate, wife of Zachary Fugate; and one great-granddaughter: Gianna DeRenzo. He was predeceased by a sister: Marilyn Grim.
