Kathryn M. Hess, 76, of Leesport, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. She was the wife of LeRoy M. Hess, died May 29, 2008. Born in Landis Store, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Becker) Sibalic. She graduated from Boyertown High School in 1958. She was owner and operator of Hess Family Restaurant, Leesport for many years, and last worked as owner and operator of Kathryn's Katering, Blandon until her retirement in 2012. She is survived by a son: Todd M. Hess husband of Anita M. (Enoch), Mt. Penn; two daughters: Christine M. (Hess), wife of Frank J. Jroski, Mohrsville, and Penny M. (Hess), wife of Richard T. Tracy, Blandon; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother: George Sibalic; and a sister: Anna (Sibalic) Spencer, both of Boyertown. She was predeceased by two brothers: Anthony Sibalic and Marvin Specht. Services will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 am from St. Joseph's Hill Lutheran Church, 244 Koch Road Boyertown, PA 19512. Burial will follow in Hill Church Cemetery, Pike Twp.
