Karol K. Shollenberger, 72, of Muhlenberg Twp., died Monday, November 11, 2024 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Karol was the wife of Lynn G. Shollenberger. They were married February 12, 1972 and celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth G. and Ruth A. (Henry) Reider. She graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1970. Karol was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Twp. She had been a member of the choir and church, and was formerly a member of the bell choir. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren; and would any chance she had. Karol and Lynn traveled together on 30 cruises, the most recent being in August 2024.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters: Rochelle R. (Shollenberger) Stambaugh, wife of Mike, West Lawn, and Krista M. (Shollenberger) Hein, wife of Eric, Wyomissing; and six grandchildren: Matthew, Ashley, Grace, Jada, Hanna, and Lexi.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11:00 am from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4201 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Rd, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Tuckerton. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church.
