Judy A. Johnson, 56, of Auburn, died Thursday, February 9, 2012. She was the wife of Larry R. Johnson. They were married on April 30, 1977 and celebrated 34 years of marriage.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of Ruth (Zettlemoyer) Schwenk, Auburn; and the late Leroy Schwenk. Judy was a 1973 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. She also graduated from Schuylkill Business Institute; and received a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Alvernia College. She was a certified public accountant; working for Lipkin, Marshall, Bohorad, and Thornburg, P.C., Pottsville. Judy was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summer Hill. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching; and especially enjoyed spending time at their retirement home in Punxsutawney.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband is one son: Jeremy C. Johnson, and his wife Jeannine, Robesonia; one daughter: Denise M. (Johnson), wife of Brian Watts, Harrisburg; four grandchildren: Daerrick, Caleb, Kaley, and Colby; and three brothers: Terry Schwenk, Auburn; Dale Schwenk, Schuylkill Haven; and Glen Schwenk, Auburn. Judy was predeceased by her sister: Donna Schwenk.

Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
