Josephine M. Edgar, 67, of Hamburg, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in The Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late James Joseph and Anne (Farrelly) Edgar. Josephine worked for R.W. Palmer and Bed, Bath and Beyond. She was a member of St. Mary Church, Tilden Twp. Josephine was in a dart league and loved her dog.
Josephine is survived by her sons: Steven K. Folk, husband of Jami, Hamburg; and Jesse R. Folk, Shillington; and two grandchildren: Lola and Camden. She is also survived by her siblings: James Edgar, Patricia Edgar and Maureen Galanos. Josephine was predeceased by a brother Brian Edgar.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 am at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Gethseman Cemetery, Reading. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Friday, August 21, 2026 from 10:00 to 10:45 am.
