Joseph A. Elacqua, 77, of Spring Twp., passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 in his residence. He was the husband of Jennie M. (Ernst) Elacqua.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Catherine (Gruber) Cini. Joseph was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked for Hoffman Industries, Sinking Spring. Joe was a member of Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, Centre Twp. He enjoyed fishing, eagles, traveling, visiting people and helping at the shelter. Joe was happiest when he was on the go.

Surviving in addition to Joe's wife are many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. He was predeceased by a sister: Sharon E. Frankhouser.

Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1542 Shoey Road, Mohrsville. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Viewings will be held in the church Friday 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Samaritan's Purse, P.O.
