Jonathan G. Stine, 36, of Shoemakersville, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. He was the husband of Heather Denatala.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Ernest S., II and Sherry A. (Strauss) Stine. He was a 2004 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. Jonathan worked for East Penn Manufacturing. He was a good baseball player and enjoyed coaching. Jonathan loved his sons; they were his life.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two sons: Joseph Anthony Stine and Julian Michael Stine; one sister: Jennifer N. (Stine), wife of Matthew Mengel; nephew Ethan; nieces Emily and Ellen; and paternal grandparents: Ernest and Joanne Stine. Jonathan is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Jonathan's life will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 6:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533, so that the family can establish a scholarship fund for Joseph and Julian.
