John L. "Jack" Webb, 88, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 in Providence Place, Pottsville. He was the husband of Joan J. (Hering) Webb. They were married December 8, 1956 and celebrated 67 years of marriage.

Born in Frackville, he was the son of the late Samuel M. and Esther H. (Pearson) Webb. He graduated from Frackville High school in 1954; and later worked for the former Allied Signal, Pottsville for 35 years before retiring in 1998. He later worked Habitat for Humanity, Pottsville, and served on the Municipal Authority for the Borough of Orwigsburg. He was a member of Church of Christ; McKeansburg; was an assistant Scout Master and Boy Scout Leader for the Orwigsburg Troop, and coached the Royer's Little League team when they won the championship in 1956.

He is survived by a granddaughter: Rachael; and was predeceased by a daughter: Jacqueline M. (Webb) Orlosky, died in 1997.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Zion's (Red) Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
