Obituary
John G. Keller, 95, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Blandon, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret (George) Keller. He was a US Army veteran serving in the 78th Amphibious Tank Division. He worked in the landscaping business with his father, spent some time working at Blandon Broom Factory, and ended his career working at Giorgio Foods until retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.
He is survived by a sister: Annamae K. (Keller) Shirk, Maidencreek Twp.; and a nephew: Emidio M. "Mim" Keller, husband of Mary L. (Dinatale), Centre Twp.; and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings: Robert, Lewis, Edward, Daniel, Fred, Wanda, Margaret, Mable, and Hilda.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Maidencreek Cemetery. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport is in charge of arrangements.
