Joan K. Hauck, 78, of Leesport, passed away on October 27, 2015 in ManorCare, Laureldale. She was the wife of Paul A. Hauck, who died on August 27, 2014.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Musser) Becker. Joan was a 1955 graduate of Reading High School. She worked for fifteen years for CNA Insurance, Reading; and ten years for J.C. Penny at the Fairgrounds Square Mall. Joan was an active member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Leesport. She enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Joan is survived by two daughters: Kathy J. (Hauck), wife of James W. Wagner, Leesport; and Kara M. (Hauck), wife of Mark S. Fretz, Kempton; two grandchildren: Ryan J. Wagner and Sara C. Kerrigan; and two great-grandchildren: Brynleigh and Kendra. She will be missed by her cats: David and Nicodemus.
Memorial services will be held on Monday at 7:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation will be held in the funeral home Monday 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
