Jill C. Lord, 47, of Allentown, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Marguerite C. "Pat" (Riegel) Crow, companion of Carl A. Waldman, Tilden Twp., and the late Wayne L. Crow. She was a 1984 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and a 1988 graduate of Kutztown University. During her senior year at Kutztown, she studied at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown for Medical Technology. Jill worked at Sacred Heart Hospital as a medical technologist. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Jill was a member of the Women of the Moose, Hamburg. She enjoyed working around the house. She and her son Colin took great joy in remodeling their home. Jill enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. She and Colin traveled to many other major league baseball stadiums for games. In addition to her mother, Jill is survived by her son: Colin N. Lord, Allentown. She was predeceased by her brother: Brian S. Crow, died February 9, 2005. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home Saturday 9:30 to 11:00 am.
